What is the difference between a fixed-code and a rolling-code remote?
A fixed-code remote sends the same signal every single time, which means it can be recorded from the pavement and replayed by somebody else later. A rolling-code remote changes its code with every press, so a recorded signal is useless. The difference in price is small. The difference in security is not.
I am building a new garage. What should the opening be?
Get us involved before the opening is closed up. Standard single openings run around 2 400 – 2 600mm wide and doubles around 4 800 – 5 000mm, but the headroom above the lintel matters just as much. Getting it right at build stage costs nothing; correcting it afterwards costs a great deal.
